We recently stayed at a lovely holiday home in Seaham and Durham, and it was perfect for our visit. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, which was ideal for me as I have breathing problems. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, although there was no dishwasher, which wasn't a major inconvenience. The front path was a bit steep, but it will be better when the kerb is dropped so we can park off the pavement.

That it wasn't clear from the listing that the property was a mid-terrace house. The walls were quite thin, so we could hear our neighbors watching television late into the night.
